Our Mission

We started Unidos de Aotearoa

Brazilian Samba School

to unite Brazilians in NZ with

local people who love our music

so we can all celebrate Carnival samba,

Rio and São Paulo style!

We train weekly as a bateria (drum ensemble) to support singers, musicians and dancers in static and parade

drumming performances

that bring audiences the real

sights and sounds of Brazil to Aotearoa.
